About Sadie - Likes Attention

Sadie is a Cavalier King Charles mixed with a Cocker Spaniel. She is white with brown ears and weighs 21 lbs. She is 11 yrs old and very healthy. She still loves to chase squirrels rabbits and birds. Her favorite game is fetch with the ball. She loves to go running with me. She is up to date with her shots, micro chipped and is spayed. She is very loyal to her owner. She can be bossy with other dogs and gets along with those that she can dominate. She has always been good with older children and adults and truly is a really good dog. The human baby in Sadie’s home has become mobile and Sadie is very uncomfortable with that. For that reason Sadie’s owner, very sadly, has decided that Sadie should be adopted into a home where she can be the baby!

Sadie is located in Lakemoor, IL. Her adoption fee is $150, she comes fully vetted, and has nice manners. Please contact Vicki at (162) 496-9324 if you have a BABY FREE ZONE and are interested in Sadie.

Wendy

Her brother, Peter has been adopted and Wendy is still waiting, but needs a Chih savvy home.
Hi Everypuppy!
Peter Pan and Wendy are 8 year old bonded pair of chihuahuas that Tiny Paws rescued from Anti Cruelty of Chicago. Don't let our older age fool you...we have lots of spunk left in our little bodies! We LOVE to play with each other, our foster brothers and sisters and with our foster Mommy and Daddy. Peter Pan is about 7.5 pounds and Wendy is 8.5 pounds but should probably weigh more like 7 pounds. We are working on a weight loss regimen in our foster home. We go outside to potty about 95% of the time and the other 5% we use a potty pad. We get along with all other dogs our size. We have been spayed, neutered, had our teeth cleaned, are Heartworm negative, and are up to date on all of our vaccines.
Wendy's adoption fee is $250. Please call foster Mommy Shelly Thompson at 920-948-1494 or sbozich@gmail.com to learn more about her.

Meet Pogi and Kosmo

Pogi, the redhead, is 9 years old, and Kosmo, tan, is 10 years old. These handsome boys ended up in rescue when their elderly owner became unable to care for herself or them. In his younger days, Kosmo competed in dog shows, consequently, neither is neutered. She had both dogs since they were puppies and they are bonded and should stay together. She dressed them up in lots of clothes and took them out for walks in a baby buggy. Both are friendly with people. We are unsure about how they are with cats or other dogs.

Unfortunately, they are not trained and have never been disciplined. They can be yappy and have been known to nip at the heels of their caretaker from time to time. The previous owner has apparently spoiled them rotten all their lives. Pogi and Kosmo will be vetted and neutered for an approved adoptor. Their adoption fee is $300. If you would like more information about adopting this striking, but challenging duo, please contact Vicki at 262-496-9324.

Jordy and Johnny are pure bred shih-tzu’s weighing in at 4 and 4 1/2 pounds. These handsome men are only 10 years young! Unfortunately, they are retired breeders who lived in a bird cage, hanging from a ceiling in the basement of their breeder’s home. They never knew of love, gentle hands, or vetting. Johnny and Jordy now know how to be loved, happy, spoiled, cuddled, kissed, and plenty more.
Johnny, the grey, is also blind. He was given a Halo, which helps him maneuver bump free. Johnny is now confident to walk without his little guide friend, Jordy. Johnny loves for you to talk to him and licks your hand or face to show you his love.
Jordy (black) hasTONS of personality. He is a HOOT! Jordy’s nick name is Happy Feet.

Please note, they are 'special needs' angels. They both require eye drops every day, due to dry eye and both have heart murmurs. Johnny is blind, has no teeth, and is missing part of his lower jaw. Don’t let this deter you away, as this doesn’t stop him from eating dry food and his new love – treats! Jordy will be a little skittish when you try to pick him up, but once in your arms, he lays his head against you.
To adopt Jordy and Johnny, you will need to pass a home inspection, be an approved adopter, and have excellent vet/personal references. These two MUST adopt together. Adoption fee for both are $400. They are located South of Chicago, IL and you may contact foster mom Tracy at 815-647-9176 or Vicki at 262-496-9324.
